Vicki and Michael Grusby started The Junktique Collector Inc. in 1995 while employed in the medical profession; Vicki as an operating room charge nurse and Michael as certified surgical technician. Since our first small advertisements ran in local mailers we realized the overwhelming need for a business model like ours, and soon we left the hospital work altogether. Our client list began to grow from homeowners to contractors to property managers. We still service our original clients today and continue to provide professional, on-time and affordable hauling services that stand out from the rest. Many new startups have come and gone. They try to compete with huge discounts or they do not carry the insurance or licenses required. New clients must pay at time of service by credit card, money order, or cash. We do not accept checks, but credit is available for business accounts with 30 day terms of net.
